ALEXANDRA JUNIOR SCHOOL ZOOM CLUB – Ages 8 to 11. 4 to 5pm. 6 weeks

Bursting with ideas but don’t know where to put them? Ever wanted to write a novel, a novelette, a play or poems?

Then join us for Alexandra’s brilliant after school creative writing club, a workshop that has been running successfully for several years at Alexandra Juniors. This club is open to children who attend the school only.

You child will learn all the skills you need to create great characters, nuanced plot, subtext and lyrical verse whilst building up a portfolio of work they can enter into competitions and even win prizes or, and most importantly, just for the joy of writing. 

Each new term the students will be focusing on writing a short story, a play, a poem or a longer story over the course of the year. 

Max, a practicing writer, has been running similar clubs for years and loves to help each student find their own voice and engage with what they are doing.
