Catch Up Literacy Course – Year 5 & 6 (09:30 to 10:45am)

This Catch Up Literacy course will really benefit any Year 5 & 6 students, who need to boost their confidence in reading and writing.  We will use extracts from well-known children’s books, both classic and modern, to revise how to ‘read between the lines’ and recognise literacy techniques. The group will be given writing prompts to help them write their own imaginative stories. They can write in whichever genre they want! We will also cover some essential SPAG and punctuation points, which they will need to know for next term.
